Description:
DreamCatcher Youth Mentoring Society is an innovative Canadian leadership and e-mentoring program for Northern Canadian youth. Since 2005, over 200 students from Yukon have benefited from the “DreamCatcher Yukon” program. In 2009, we plan to launch and pilot “DreamCatcher Nunavut” in Iqaluit. These programs work to empower youth by helping them to identify their career aspirations by connecting them a Canadian mentor employed in the student's aspired career field. We believe that a one-to-one, high-quality mentoring program will give students the confidence, skills, and drive to complete their education and work towards their dreams and aspirations.
