| Jr/ Int Project Manager Edmonton 01DE0077 Position: Jr/ Int Project Manager Location: Edmonton Salary: Open We require an IT Junior or Intermediate Project Manager that will report to the IT Project Management team. This individual will work closely with IT project teams to ensure projects meet project requirements and timelines. This individual will work with the IT Project Management team to ensure project guidelines and standards are followed as required. Responsibilites: -Develop and maintain project plans, project charters and other project related documents to meet project needs. Implement detailed project plans; monitor work efforts on a regular basis. -Coordinate communication with management, customers and team, ensuring appropriate information is shared. -Create meeting agendas and minutes. -Identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, assess cross project impacts and ensure overall business readiness. -Identify and escalate functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately; assess and mitigate risks. -Champion Project Management best practices and process improvements. Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Certificate in Computer Science/Information Technology/Project Management. Minimum 4 years of IT work experience, including 2 or more years successfully coordinating/managing IT projects. Strong knowledge of software project/product development life cycles. Knowledge of Oracle is an asset; equivalencies will be considered Able to multi-task and manage several projects at one time. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
