Position Description
We are looking for people who have the passion to connect and build rapport with a variety of customers and their changing needs. You must enjoy and be energized by working in a highly structured, metrics focused environment. The position is a virtual work@home job involving inbound phone customer service inquiries; there is no outbound sales or telemarketing involved.

We are hiring for over 600 new positions on our Canadian Customer Care Team to service the wireless subscribers of our Canadian telecommunications client, Rogers Communications. Our Customer Care Professionals (CCPs) deliver the Ultimate Customer Experience for callers by identifying customers’ needs and opportunities, then satisfying those needs while exceeding the customers’ expectations. Alpine Access CCPs working on the Rogers Communications program will serve as the primary point of contact for billing and general inquiries. CCPs will provide high quality service that builds relationships, resolves customers’ issues and results in exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Handle inbound billing and general customer service inquiries for wireless subscribers
- Ability to customize services for customers based on their individual needs and promote appropriate products and services as necessary
- Accurately complete transactions with a sense of urgency and an eye for detail
- Take ownership of and accountability for resolving customer billing concerns accurately and efficiently, while educating them in order to improve their satisfaction
- Commit to "being there" for our client’s customers and share our dedication to delivering world-class customer service and first call resolution

Skills and Competencies
- Background and professional work experience in a customer service-related field
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for troubleshooting problems and providing effective solutions
- Experience using Windows and Internet web browsing computer applications
- Excellent data entry, listening, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a multi-task environment, talking to customers while simultaneously accessing multiple computer systems and applications
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Availability to work a variety of different hours during the week is desirable

Position Requirements
- Separate home office workspace with dedicated landline telephone, high speed wired Internet connection, and Windows-based PC High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
- Previous call center, customer service or sales experience is preferred
- Strong listening and communication skills, professional telephone manner, and ability to deal with customers tactfully and effectively in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
- Must be computer literate: strong keyboarding and internet navigation skills; type a minimum of 25 wpm; basic arithmetic skills required (i.e. calculating taxes)
- Must be flexible to work shifts within our operating hours (evenings, weekends and holidays). Hours of operation: Monday to Sunday 6:00 a.m. to Midnight Mountain Time.
- Bilingualism (English / French Canadian) is an asset but not required
- Pass a background check plus provide previous employer information for reference checks

Compensation
• $10.00 – $11.30/hour Base Rate, based on Province of residence and experience
• Plus additional opportunities for Performance Incentives/Bonuses
• Paid Training - Rate based on Province minimum wage/hour

• Supplemental Insurance will be offered
